davidr Posted August 5, 2017 Report Share Posted August 5, 2017 Hi I have a late 1981/82 TR7 and fancied a different steering wheel. The new wheel came with a Springalex Boss type SB003 which is suppose to be correct for TR7s.The boss would not fit far enough down the steering column to do the retaining nut up and is a bit loose on the spline. Had the rear taper on boss opened up and it will now go on the steering column ok but is a loose fit on the spline. The original steering wheel is the late type PKC151. Does anyone know if the later TR7s were fitted with a different upper steering column and can help recommend a source for a suitable boss. Many thanks. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
