I believe that there is a difference between RHD and LHD clutch/brake pedals. I found someone who has some but they are mixed and he does not know which is which...

How do you tell them apart?

Thanks

When Stuart converted my car from LHD to RHD he used everything except the LHD accelorator which won't work (you need to source a RHD pedal).

From what I understand, the the LHD clutch and brake pedals are pretty much the same except you have to bend them slightly for a RHD car.

This is a post on my blog that I wrote ages ago when investigating the conversion. I'm not guaranteeing anything in this is gospel as what I actually know in real experience terms is not worth the paper it's written on. I paid Stuart to do mine!

+1

I re-used "Girling" LHD pedals when I changed from drums to discs. just had to slightly bend one of the pedals, 'fraid I can't remember which one.

As has already been said, the RHD pedals have a bigger bend. Other than that they are pretty much identical.

I used photos from the forum to assess how much to bend my LHD pedals to convert them to RHD. I'm away at the moment but somewhere at home I still have a copy of the photos of you are interested.

Hi Camilo,

Apologies, I thought it was a phot of TR3a pedals I used but it was a TR4. The pedals are virtually identical although if I recall correctly, I bent the pedals on my TR3a slightly more.
