Waldi
Does it matter that the feed pipe from the tank is 7.5mm or the metal pipes to and from the original filter are the same? Do You have to replace the entire system to 10mm in order to get the benefit?
Waldi
You want to reduce the resistance in the piping system up to the pump inlet, including tank outlet, filter and hoses. Some original filters may also restrict flow, others on this forum may know which one to use if tou still have the original CAV filter.
Mike C
I use a priming pump located behind the bottom of the CAV filter feeding a Bosch injection pump located on the passenger side wheel arch. All suction lines are 8mm , except for a 10mm ball valve. Works OK.
