oh yes.. and here, to prove, are pictures taken when it was just 6 months old in 1968.... but you will notice that it has now gained surrey top and chrome wire wheels ... although it always had overdrive ...

Have to say in my opinion it looks better on the Rossies and standard seats, hey but that's just me I guess. Lovely looking car though, you should be proud.

Interesting, are they indicator repeaters near the 'B' Posts on the 6 Month old Photos?

Possibly a parking light, you needed one in those days to park on the street.

I tend to agree.. although I do have the original seats & steering wheel...and I think chrome wires were an option back then..

 

And then again, I much prefer the soft top to the stupid surrey top [ducks the backlash and legs it]

As it happens, I asked the original owner (at the time he supplied the pictures) the same question and, indeed, he confirmed that it was a parking light device.
