Ragtag
It's the first time I have changed my fuel filter and I have a dilemma! The filter (Crossland 522) has a sealed pack containing 5 'O' rings. Three are clearly for the top and bottom of the filter and the spigot but this leaves me with two very small rings with no obvious use. The Brown Bible doesn't mention them so far as I can see. My only guess is that they should go in the inflow and outflow but unless they had disintegrated, the weren't there when I removed the unit. Can anyone advise?
Mike C
Top of the centre bolt and bleed screw.
Ragtag
Thanks Mike, The centre bolt on mine has a plain steel washer so I assume the O ring goes below that. The bleed screw has a plain copper washer but I haven't undone that yet.
Mike C
Corrrect on the centre bolt. My bleed screw also has a copper washer and I've left it at that. Edited May 24, 2017 by Mike C
