JJC
After 100000 miles I made the mistake of shutting off the hater valve. Why I don't know but I now need a new one. Are they all the same from our regular suppliers or are some better quality? JJC
peejay4A
Replace it with a taxi valve, they're much more reliable and progressive. A forum search will reveal all.
Sapphire72
My heater valve was stuck. Sprayed WD-40 in the slot and that freed it up. Worked it back and forth, now it's good. Didn't cost anything.

aardvark
Best bet is to Google 'tr6 forum heater valve'. Don't use the forums search function, do it via Google.

RogerH
Hi JJC, the Taxi heater valve works well. It's only issue is that it is connected to the Cy head by a rubber hose. So you need to find a way to put it all together. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Heater-Control-Valve-Kit-Car-Classic-Car-Taxi-TX1-/200924321876?hash=item2ec805d854:g:RecAAOSwf-VWZdJ- The Everco valve is a direct fit into the head/adaptor. The problem is that Everco do not post to the UK, others do though. Roger

RogerH
Hi Graham, that's the correct one. $30 is a good price and shipping is only £10. Roger

Steves_TR6
Hi Graham, that's the correct one. $30 is a good price and shipping is only £10. Roger That looks good so i went to order one on ebay. Import duties seem to be added at checkout, making the total more than $50?
DaveN
Was going to warn you about could be import charges, but I notice the Autozone price is now $45.99, so in the end its about the same.
