Heater Valve

Recommended Posts

My heater valve was stuck. Sprayed WD-40 in the slot and that freed it up. Worked it back and forth, now it's good. Didn't cost anything.

Fitted the everco valve on my 6. Much smoother and a direct swap.

Cheers

Hi JJC,

the Taxi heater valve works well. It's only issue is that it is connected to the Cy head by a rubber hose. So you need to find a way to put it all together.

The Everco valve is a direct fit into the head/adaptor. The problem is that Everco do not post to the UK, others do though.

Hi Graham,

that's the correct one. $30 is a good price and shipping is only £10.

That looks good so i went to order one on ebay.

Import duties seem to be added at checkout, making the total more than $50?

Was going to warn you about could be import charges, but I notice the Autozone price is now $45.99, so in the end its about the same.
