John Morrison
I find that the 'Pips' on my boot handle plinth the bit that locates in the boot panel are worn, and are allowing the plinth to revolve when I turn the handle. Anyone have one in reasonable nick? Cheers, John.
Drewmotty
My 4 had the escutcheon modified by a P.O by drilling the pips and bonding in some pins.
BlueTR3A-5EKT
Did you get a replacement escutcheon? In the old days we used to buy the rear door handle of a Reliant Robin for the handle only to fit a TR3A boot lid, and switch over our old screw attaching boot lid handle. As I have just delved to create a mock up of an anti roll bar attachment I came across a NOS Reliant handle without key - The escutcheon I think is TR4-4A-5-250 boot handle. A new TR4 boot handle will cost you over £ 30 so make me an offer for the escutcheon if you think it is correct from the photos. NB - I will need to buy a key to get the thing to bits.
