Image in signature

Recommended Posts

Easy way, without using an external photo storage site is to put the images into a post, eg as a rely to this one, then go to edit your profile, edit signature, & pick the photo from "your media", "attachments"

Hi Kevin: I did!

I've placed an image in an outside website and all I need is to find out how to connect to it.

With forum's attachments is like this [sharedmedia(=)core:attachments:21939] (ignore brackets around equal sign)

What do I have to do to use an url, instead?

Thanks

PS - I expect it something like this but it doesn't work

The Signature editor in the Profile is the same editor that is used for posting in the forum. To add an image from an external hosting site just click on the Image button in the title bar and past in just the path to the image, eg http://.......foo.jpg with no other html added. You should see the image appear in the editor.
