pcw64 Posted April 18, 2017 Report Share Posted April 18, 2017 If i turn on my wipers nothing happens for about 30 sec and the they will then work perfectly on both speeds,if i turn them off and then on again they will work but if i try them the next day the same thing happens they wont work until after about 30 sec,I have checked the fuse and the green wire is live going to the switch,any clues?Thanks Paul Quote Link to post Share on other sites
boxofbits Posted April 18, 2017 Report Share Posted April 18, 2017 (edited) Hi Paul There could be resistance in the circuit just about anywhere between the switch and the motor. Quite often the bullet type wiring connectors corrode inside, or simply do not make a good contact. The switch could also be faulty. Failing that it could be the motor itself, but a direct connection with a lead to the battery could rule that in or out. If the motor starts each time immediately you connect a lead to it, then your problem is in the circuit. Check alongside the circuit diagram in the W/M.
