rhine Posted March 11, 2017 Report Share Posted March 11, 2017 Can anyone suggest a source for the spire clip that holds the heater fan to the shaft of the Smiths heater? This would be item #5 ( PFS214 ) from http://www.moss-europe.co.uk/shop-by-model/triumph/tr5-6/heating-ventilation/heaters-vents-fittings/heating-ventilation-e392c6.html A simple round spire washer is no good as need the dual function of clamping down on the shaft to hold the fan back down towards the motor, but also has to stop the fan spinning on the shaft. Alan, I think that this is more like it - rectangular so that it fits inside the shallow recess in the plastic fan, and will also grip the motor shaft. Will share what I find.
