KiwiTR6
Hi All. Went to replace the #4 hose which is leaking at a barb and can't find spanners to fit the coupling nut, coupling elbow or injector flats (15.3, 9.5 and 13.4mm respectively). My imperial spanner set is in 1/16" increments but nothing fits. Do I need to modify some old open-enders to suit or are they 1/32" increment sizes? Please don't tell me to use adjustable spanners! jamesStag
Hi Gavin, I just removed my injectors 4 days ago. If I remember correctly a metric 13 will fit the flat on the injector. A metric 15 will just about wiggle onto the union nut. As it's a tight fit is not a risk of nut damage. However yes I believe the correct spanners are really Whitworth. Hope helps, James.
