Technical declaration form 2017

Recommended Posts

Hi

Do we need to wait for the MSA approval of the championship before doing some if the admin to join in.

I know this form is 2016

http://www.tr-register.co.uk/uploads/2015/12/18/Technical-Declaration-16.pdf

But wouldn't it save a big rush for the organisers if we could fill in and submit a 2017 version. Is the only change the declaration of race weight as opposed to kerb weight.

We would then know what class we would be in. Especially if the power weight ratio changed putting existing cars in different classes ?

Sorry if I'm talking out of turn. Not done this before.

Hi Hamish,

The facts are that until the MSA approves our submissions we do not have a Championship, and therefore there is nothing to enter!

This is an extremely unusual situation at this time of year, previously we have had approval in December or early January, but there has been major delays at the MSA due to staff changes etc. This problem has affected everybody in the sport and there are still many organisations awaiting approval. It is possible for the MSA to request changes to the submitted Regulations before approval.

In due course everybody who has shown an interest will receive by e-mail the Regulations, Technical Declaration, Registration Form and Programme of Events for 2017. If I receive completed applications with payment I will process them within one day, to allow events to be entered.

Please note that it is up to competitors to declare the BHP and weight of their car and hence proposed Class. Only if there appears to be a discrepancy is that questioned.

Hope this helps.

Roger
