Trevor W
A golfing pal mentioned that he was the original owner of a TR3A, Reg'n Number SAY 480. It was red, he thinks Signal Red. Does anyone know if/where this car is still alive ?
Graham
tax status shows: which I believe would indicate that either its sitting in a barn somewhere since before SORN was mandatory or it was scrapped in or around 1996 although the date of first registration is strange as showing as July '82 ?? Tax due: 01 February 1996 Vehicle details Vehicle make TRIUMPH Date of first registration 06 July 1982 Year of manufacture 1958 Cylinder capacity (cc) 1991cc CO₂Emissions Not available Fuel type PETROL Export marker No Vehicle status Not taxed Vehicle colour RED Vehicle type approval Not availa Edited August 31, 2016 by Graham
threej
July 1982 is when the registration was applied for to the newly set up DVLA, possibly the registration was claimed at the time without a current registration document if the car was off road for over the previous few years or more. Tax due indicates it was previously taxed which expired Jan 1996 and it may still exist somewhere or not.
Dave Larnder
Hi Damage Pity you blacked out the registration plate, I more than likely could have told you where it came from having lived there for 30 years. Dave
