classic225
Hi guys, I'm in the process of building my own wiring loom. On the diagram it shows two connections from the generator to the control box, one has a large spade connector on the generator and the other one has a smaller connector with a small nut. My question.... goes the one with the large spade connector( yellow-green wire) on the F connection on the control box or is it the smaller( yellow) one. What is the size of the thicker wire? Thanks, Yves
Lebro
"F" is for "Field" this is the low current circuit required to energise, & regulate the main output of the generator. The thinner wire goes to this on the smaller connector. The larger terminal is the main output of the generator, needs a thicker wire, & goes to "D" on the regulator. Bob.
