Steve T
Does anyone know if you can get just the lower part of the A & B posts......the bit that rusts away or is it a question of buying full ones and chopping them down?

SeanF
Hi Steve. You have to buy the whole pieces and chop them up or you can make your own. I bought new A posts and just used the bottoms but made my own B post bottoms. Pics attached. Just been doing the nearside B post bottoms this weekend. Sean
Steve T
Thanks both. Some interesting reading there John. Most of my tricky bits I've made using an anvil but I like the sound of this skrinker thingy. Will have to look into that. Looks like you've been busy there Sean!! Rob Salisbury
+1 for a stretcher/shrinker tool, they work wonders for jobs like these, you can get a good one for the price of a complete B post, hand operated ones are good, hydraulic types and you are into body shop fabrication territory.
