cotswold
Hi all, I bought this TR6 a few months ago and only had one key given to me so I wanted to have a spare key cut. The key has USA printed on it and it resembles a long thin Yale type of key not the usual short FS style at all. I wonder if any of our US members can source a key blank for me so that I can have one cut here? Not haveing a spare is making me nervous. I will try and attach an image of the one I have. Thanks Charles PS The car is a 1973 CR and is an original RHD matching numbers delivered to a Northern Dealership according to the Heritage Certificate its a TR6 with PI. The only other puzzle is that it was manufactured in 1973 but not registered at DVLA until 1975. If any one can guess how in heck this was supplied with a USA steering lock I would be most grateful! Hi Charles Curtis was just an after market key blank manufacturer. If you give me an hour or so I will see if I can track down a blank in my shop, if not I should be able to order some. I can then send you a blank in the post. Edit: Looks like you are sorted. Edited December 1, 2015 by Kevo_6
astontr6
Charles, Although your key was cut in the US, your key profile is exactly the same steering lock OEM key by WRSO as originally supplied with my car when new. I go to an online company called 'Replacement Keys' they have not been beaten yet on different key profiles from me. Bruce.
astontr6
Charles, Sorry, I made a typo the name should read WASO, they are available on the internet. Bruce.

Hi Charles, if you have any problems, I do have some after market (CEA) blanks in stock. Some with a plastic top but not original looking.
