DaveN
Hi folks Anyone got any ideas as to the significance of these stamps on my 6 pot cylinder head https://www.dropbox.com/sc/bbvynep0dc3c8bb/AADDiyBFUg05OCPrUe4Hoqvta
Alec Pringle
Almost certainly stamped by someone who has rebuilt/worked on the head in the past . . . . . Cheers Alec
john.r.davies
Daven, You posted your pics via Dropbox, which throws up an error when I try and look. Were you trying to get around the measly allowance of space for pics that the old site gave us? Because it is exactly as measly here on the new! John PS First criticism of the new website? DaveN
@Alec... Can you see the picture? My thoughts too. I just wondered if anyone had a name to put to it! @John... Your comment may explain why the picture wouldn't upload, with a reported 'server area'...hence Dropbox! @Tom... Surely your password must have worked because you are able to post...and the board recognises you. However have you tried deleting all your website cache, history and stored 'cookies'? I can recommend CCleaner to get rid of loads of **** on a computer....and it's FREE!
Alec Pringle
Yes I can see the picture, no problem. Looks to me like " JEM 15 6 00 RB " . . . . . which I don't recognise. Maybe it's by JEM on 15th June 2000 for Rimmer Brothers, for example ? Cheers Alec

Richard71
Almost certainly stamped by someone who has rebuilt/worked on the head in the past . . . . . Cheers Alec As soon as I saw the pic I thought of http://www.jemengines.co.uk/ . A old friend of mine served his apprenticeship there, I'll try to find out.
