Honeybourne backight

Recommended Posts

Advice please. I note from previous postings that you need to drill out the captive nuts to accommodate the fixing studs on a Honeybourne backlight, does this stop the original hood frame and soft top being replaced in the future.

No you just need to use nuts and bolts to secure the rear hood fixing bar if and when you wish to go back to a hood. and they are a bit difficult to fit on your own thats all. Dont forget you will also need to remove/re-install the 3 side poppers and the ally forward deck extension capping piece. All that pre-supposes the car in question is a 4a/5/6 as TR4 hood fixings are different and require the 3 piece ally capping removing/replacing instead.

Stuart.
