Adrian tr6
My clutch master cylinder Girling .70" is leaking. Is it worth rebuilding changing the seals or should I buy a new one. If replacing what should I replace it with and is it best to replace the slave cylinder at the same time?
TR NIALL
Think TRW do replacements but what the Quality is like I don't know, you might find NOS out there somewhere.
RobinTR6
My replacement is a TRW one done about 5k miles without issue.
cubehopper
Hi Adrian, If the internal bore is in good condition, without any scoring, just rekit it with new seals. Simple job and low cost. Just done mine for the second time in 17 years If the slave is not leaking leave as it is regards Dave
Adrian tr6
Thanks for the replies. Will try and re-seal. What's the worst that can happen, only start leaking again.
roy53
Thanks for the replies. Will try and re-seal. What's the worst that can happen, only start leaking again. And stripping paint from the engine bay

cubehopper
wont strip the paint if you apply some common sense and protect that area. Dave
