barry p cook
I know there have been lots of discussions on the forum about this subject but none have addressed my latest question. I was cutting the reinforcing plates for the diff hangers at the weekend when I decided to try the new polybushes onto the pins. I was surprised at how loose they were. There is almost 2 mm difference between the i.d. of the bush and the o.d. of the pin. The pins are in quite good nick and the bushes are SuperPro. It seems quite a bit of play to take up when the bushes are tightened down. Is this correct? Yet again, thanks for any views/reassurances. Barry
Mark1965TR4aBRG
You might like to think twice about poly bushing the diff mounts.... The vibrations will take your teeth out.. New standard mounts I've found to be much better.
barry p cook
Hi Mark, The ones I have are the ones with voids in which a number of people on the forum have said are softer and closer to the standard mounts. Regards, Barry
Mark1965TR4aBRG
In which case you're probably fine then..
