Hi just re-joined the fold after a 20 year gap of TRless-ness. Wondering if my old car is still thriving and on the Register?

Don't know if it's on the register but it's taxed until 1st May 2016, and mot'd until 26th May 2016.....colour is red and 1st Registered on 10th July 1973. So it's still around and legal.

Thanks Dave, it used to be Sienna Brown! (but I guess I can understand the colour change!) We had some great adventures together including doing the Stelvio in '92 on the TR Alpine Rally :)

Hi Ben, just done the Schlumpf Museum. The Oldtimers Classic Show at Friedrichshafen then onto the Stelvio, the Umbrail and the Grossglockner 2 weeks ago. Just over a liter of oil used + a teaspoonfull of water, one bust N/S headlight, Speedo giave up and the dash light packed in (fuse) and 2,945 miles. All great fun tho. :) Hope someone comes up trumps with your old TR.

Well done! Mrs F had to get out and push after the last hairpin on the Stelvio. The mixture was so rich..........and the price of fuel in Italy at the time made us weep! It would be good to hear from teh new owner as I have some good tales to tell!
