ronhatch
Hi all, I am thinking of fixing some soundproofing to the underside of the bonnet to reduce noise and drumming, Anyone done this? If so what material and what fixing as it can get quite hot. Regards Ron
Jersey Royal
Ron I used this stuff on my TR6, they dont have one listed for a tr4, but may be worth a call. http://www.classic9leathershop.com http://www.classic9leathershop.com/bonnet-liners-triumph/ Its a nitrile type foam rubber about 5 mm thick, the bonnet shuts with a nice thud instead of clank if you know what I mean. As for underbonnet temps, can say for sure but its supposed to disipate it some who. All in all its been on for many years with out issue and I am happy with it. Delivery was on time too. Cheers Guy I see you can buy it now uncut http://www.classic9leathershop.com/bonnet-liners-triumph-page-2/ Edited July 2, 2015 by Jersey Royal
