RogerH
Hi Nick, every now and then a thread pops up that can be seen by many and give them an understanding of problems that come along. There are no daft threads. Enjoy the driving. Roger
Lebro
Glad you got there in the end. What seems obvious to some is not at all so to others. Still that's how we learn. Bob.
stuart
It would be interesting to see these and measure them just to compare to what is being offered in the kits. Roger FWIW the NOS seals turned up yesterday, they are 1/2" total depth from base of metal retainer to top of felt and the felt is much more substantial than the repros. Stuart. RogerH
Hi Stuart, assuming these are NOS are they correct and will they fit. Somebody posted that theirs was something like 0.344" thick - don't know if this was unused or compressed after use. Roger
BlueTR3A-5EKT
And for my twopenny worth.... Why not modify away from the felt seal with a rubber lip seal. (GHS110 or GHS146 being the 2 felt types) Just needs the hub recess and the spigot of the V post measuring and go searching for a suitable sized seal.
