V8 Lady
The end of an era for us today as we said goodbye to our hooliganmobile KEH2V, a wolf in sheep's clothing that we have owned since 1999. Ex John Colburne Sprint car with the most amazing V8 roar, enjoyed at Mallory Park Track day and trips to Malvern. I had rather a mishap with it on a cold day - catching a white line and then the only milestone for miles. Although carefully rebuilt by Tom and his mate Ant the car never felt quite the same and has been little used as the cost of fuel rocketed almost as fast as the car. By chance we sold a V8 sub-frame and the buyer on collection fell in love with our beasties. Steve has purchased KEH and intends doing hillclimbs and sprints very soon and based not too far from us. Please welcome him into the fold .

TR NIALL
The Fleet is getting Smaller but glad to see the Car will still be Used and Abused.
Alec Pringle
Andrew, we're trying to reduce the fleet and make space, not fill it again ! YLO, the 2 litre 4-speed tin top TR7 project car has now gone too, so only one Yellow Wedge left in the barn . . . . . . Son Tom visited this weekend in his recently acquired Civic Type R - third Honda he's had, after an Integra Type R and a S2000. Quick hatch, like the sports car and coupe able to hit 60 in 6 seconds or not much over, at Warp 9 rpm, but the Civic manages 40mpg cruising whereas the other two couldn't achieve much over 30. Progress. In contrast, KEH 2V never managed much more than 20mpg, and 15 if you put foot down . . . . . but then it could out drag the Hondas to the ton without needing to exceed 5000rpm, and a spare 2000 revs in hand. Pedal to the metal and the Hondas couldn't even get close enough to read the number plate before the TR disappeared, 0-100 in ten seconds is outside 2 litre Honda territory. Alec, The analogy of having a clear garage space is too many pouches on your bergan - there's an obligation to fill it! It wont stay clear for long matey!
