alan57
Checking out a new battery for the french TR6 - Bosch S4 69 72 seems to be recommended - and the terminals in the right place - but difficult to find round here. Does anyone know the Varta equivalent?

alan57
Thanks Tom - managed to find a local brand - both powerful and with correct terminals - the problem appears to be that the majority on modern batteries have the terminals the "wrong" way round! JohnG
Alan I bought a new battery for my car late last year. Asked the guys on the forum for advice and it seems that cca is the measure to use, the bigger the better I was told. (Thread title; which battery, dated Nov 2014) I bought an 069/072 size 68AH battery, delivering 620cca, it is a mm or 2 taller, but otherwise a good fit, with the terminals the right way round. Branded ones are on ebay, starting at about £60.00 delivered Hope this helps Edited March 31, 2015 by wjgco
