That will probably be close by the time premiums and VAT are taken into account. It is a reasonable car for the money and the plate will make up a good portion of the price.

OK, the auction is tomorrow and I'm going to have a guess at the winning bid.

£11000.

There that's it. Head on the block time.

Madness?

Worth it?

We shall see..... up to now I'm the highest virtual bidder!

Any advance?

It is Saturday .

Auctions seem to be a way of getting the most for your car I believe the auction fever gets a grip of the wadded folk that attend these sales.

A Pantera similar to mine sold for 133K euros at the French sale recently. Everyone in the States knows you can buy a better one for less than half the cost this French one sold for.

These people don't seem to worry about what they pay, makes you think though.

Nice car indeed but what everyone missed was the value of the number plate!

Not at all, that and the Surrey is a fair proportion of the price.

Just the opposite Pete, unmolested UK car and somebody at sometime cared for it,the buyers are not stupid. The 5 did not sell on the day afaik.

Your right of course, I still think Just over 12K would have been more likely but wow, it did appear a good old soul.

But the E type was a hunk of junk, and I know a bit about them, amazed .... Again!

I'm beginning to think that my solid axle 4A was a pretty good buy at £1500!

Depending on when you bought it then yes it was.
