Tom its feasible but the end result would be awful unless you covered it with a 4A bit of wood. with all those cuts it would be impossible to have uniformity across the surface.

 

keep looking on the bay.

Hi Tom,

 

As I stated on my website. It's not easy, but it can most definitely be uniformity done. It all depends on how good you are at welding.

I stand corrected, and admit my welding skills are at best amateur, well done, it looks good, and I can't see the joints.

It is very possible to do, rather time consuming and a faff but if you have no other option.........
