Crankshaft plugs

Recommended Posts

I had dozens in stock....Will take a look tomorrow.

I am assuming you need plugs for an OEM TR4 crank?

Steel aftermarket ones gnerally use smaller plugs.

To remove any taper plug: take a bronze punch & hammer, whack the plug medium hard, tap your 3/8" drive hex bit into the plug, then TIGHTEN it a fraction using a T-bar. It will yield; you can then unscrew it without chewing the recess up.

If that doesn't work, then it's drill & extractor time I'm afraid.
