What are the benefits of having an anti roll bar and upgrading front brake system Frank None at all, they both work fine as they are unless you going to race/rally it. Stuart. BlueTR3A-5EKT
Add an anti roll bar to the front suspension if it does not have one fitted. The TR6 assembly fits 'out the box' Cheers Peter W Read this link http://www.tr-register.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/15308-tr4a-front-anti-roll-bar/
Tom Boyd
A front anti rollbar is a nice addition to the front end. If you want better brakes stick with standard discs and fit mintex 1144 pads Tom
peejay4A
To fit the TR6 anti roll bar you will have to source a radiator skid plate from a TR6. It's a straight replacement for the 4A one. Edit: I just noticed that the link Peter W posted mentions what you need to put a TR6 ARB on a 4A. Sorry for the duplication. littlejim
My best improvement to handling was shimming the back trailing arms to zero toe in. Went from weird understeer/oversteer changes in corners to predictable understeer/neutral handling.
monty
The ever helpful Clive Manvers did a roll bar kit which I fitted to my 4A. Seemed to make it a bit more stable but that could also be the poly bushes.
