Richard71 Posted October 19, 2014 Report Share Posted October 19, 2014 Hello All, I've checked the Moss and Rimmers parts books and can't seem to find the correct thread size & length for the screw attaching the badge plinth to the front grille. BlueTR3A-5EKT Posted October 24, 2014 Report Share Posted October 24, 2014 (edited) By part number the original screw was HU459 - which equates to No8 UNC (32tpi) x 1 1/8" long. with a hex head. I do not have a head size spec but would stab at 5/16 or 11/32 AF. This of course only works for genuine original badge plinths - repro or aftermarket may be metricated..... Cheers Peter W EDIT PS For some reason Moss have changed this item to Pt No HU460 which would mean it was 1/8" longer than orig - added washer perhaps?
