pfenlon
my quickie paint job has turned out to be taking as long as the black one, doors off windows out, bonnet and boot off, then the dreaded filler which is an essential tool in old panels, but rubbing off 95% off after each application is a pain, the bonnet had so much paint on we used paint stripper, (that worked! and stung just like the old stuff) but 3 or more applications were needed to shift it. sidescreen
Peter, As I said before, with great respect for your continuous energy and craftsmanship... Well done and keep up the good work! Cheers - Raymond
pfenlon
A bit nearer, just regret fitting the very poor "New"front valance. The fit is terrible. The shop ran out of primer so had to key this first coat in order for the second coat to adhere properly.
sidescreen
It always looks smooth that greyish colour of the primer. I'm sure you will solve the nasty fittings of the front valance Peter...! Take care - Raymond
BrianC
I must admit the front valance doesn't look too good but how far you go in improving it must depend on whether or not you intend to fit a bumper, lamp bar, lights, etc and how much that would hide.
