Alan Young
Thank you all for your excellent advice ref;lighting and security I would now value you thoughts on the subject of the best navigation aids currently available. It's a long time since 60/70's when a Halda Twinmaster/Poti were the norm I am preparing my TR3 9297 for historic events where accurate total and interim distances are available Alan Y

ianc
Tony Sheach's article "The Mysterious World of Tripmeters" (published in TR Action 263, January 2013) is excellent, and elicited very high praise from Willy Cave, the doyen of rally navigators. In TR Action 265, Willy said, "I was most impressed by Tony Sheach's brilliant comprehensive review of trip meters". For anyone contemplating equipping a TR for historic rallying, this article is undoubtedly the place to start. Ian Cornish P.S. For those who may not be aware, Willy was navigating at International level in the mid-1950s, and, as far as TRs go, was alongside Paddy Hopkirk and John Waddington in TR3 and John Sprinzel in TR4.
