Propshaft

Hi, I sure that one of you tec guy's wil know the answer :

 

Tr6 CR 1973 Propshaft: Do they all have flanges at each end? Or did some have one flange and a splined end?

There is a flange at each end but there are also splines in the sliding part of the shaft. The splines are under the green masking tape in the photo below.

Hi,

Not much difference in cost between having an old one rebuilt and buying new, I had a new one made up by North West Propshafts from Coppull in Lancashire two years ago for £98 +VAT. That included larger uprated UJ's and of course no wear in the splines which my old one had.
