KOB Posted September 14, 2014 Report Share Posted September 14, 2014 I have just fitted a tow bar to my 6, and as expected my turn indicators flash VERY slowly or not at all, can anyone reccomend a flasher relay that will cure this ? RogerH Posted September 15, 2014 Report Share Posted September 15, 2014 (edited) Hi Kevin, If you fit LED light units into whatever you are towing that should reduce the current through the flasher relay and bring back your flash rate. RogerH Posted September 15, 2014 Report Share Posted September 15, 2014 Hi Kev, sadly I'n not too knowledgeable on the TR6. I think they have a two pin flasher unit - so that would suggest something like the RFL1 - one pin = 12V and the other goes to the switch. The RFL6 - pins 49 = 12v 49A = switch 31 = earth - it will need a separate earth connection C2 = indicator lamp for the trailer lights Not plug'n play but do'able. KOB Posted September 15, 2014 Author Report Share Posted September 15, 2014 Thank you Roger, things have moved along a little, i work next door to sussex MG Centre and one of the giys there is a sparks type, he sorted in 30mins with two relays and foot of wire, He seemed to be honoured to work on a prper car and not a B !!!!
