rhino_mac
Sorry, having a TR night so lots of questions. Has anyone in the UK had any dealings with Macy's Garage in the US buying parts. They do a reproduction Cubby Box and lid in RHD and I'm after one. They have also reproduced the bulkhead blanking plate that I need. However, they don't post to the UK and suggest using a third party company in the US that they can send the parts to, and then I pay them to send them to me. Has anyone done such a thing here who could recommend such a company Thanks Richard
EdwinTiben
Hi, yes i have bought some parts together with a couple of friends, varying from nut and bolt sets for engine bay to the cubby box. it looks very good and he was helpful to ship to the netherlands. Perhaps the total of the combi purchase was high enough to ship ?
Ian Vincent
Hi Richard, Yes, I have bought stuff from Macy's but it was back in the day when they would ship outside US. Their stuff was good. I have not tried using an intermediate forwarding agency with them although when I was working in Canada a few years ago, I had to use one to get stuff shipped from US to Canada and it worked well - albeit at a cost. I can't remember offhand the agency I used but if it would help I could try and track it down. Rgds Ian
Jim Allen
Hi, I have used this company https://www.parcelbroker.co.uk/index.php to get parts from the UK to Oz. On their website there is nothing to suggest they'll only organise items from the UK. AT least twice it's been DHL that have provided the service. Have a look at the site. Really easy to use in this day and age of the internet. Cheers Jim
