Paul Harvey
http://bringatrailer.com/2014/09/02/1954-triumph-tr2-2/ No connection but looks a great car at low bidding so far. Could be imported for around £2k inc tax and used straight away.
mleadbeater
Have you seen the long door car in "featured ads" in Classic and Sportscar, at around £38 k? Where will this rising trend end? Mike
Don Elliott
This black long door TR2 did not meet the price wanted by the seller. The highest bid was only $18800,00 US dollars. It could be a concours winner as well as a good driver. I met the chap who restored it in 1995 or so. He was an architect and it was his third sidescreen car that he was restoring. EdwinTiben
Dont understand why this didnt got more interest. I thought it was a good value for money deal. What do you think would be the reserve?

Paul Harvey
You have to remember there are 10 times more TR's in US than here and they are valued less highly as a result. It really is a simple process to import and register one here so if you don't mind LHD there are real bargains to be had.
EdwinTiben
I know, did the Same lhd is no problem in the netherlands of course. Rhd either for that matter, my herald estate is rhd. Bit more attention while driving. Tr2 prices very it seems.
