Trigbush
Just had an update email from one of the model shops that I subscribe to; this caught my eye. http://www.carmodel.com/spark-model/s1397/1-43/triumph/tr3-spider-team-standard-triumph-n-27-24h-le-mans-1959-n-sanderson-c-dubois/74040 No connection, just passing it on to those who may be interested... Lebro
Nice model, but I already have 3 X TR3A models, when really I want a TR3 one - quite hard to come by. Bob.
jean
Very nice model, They should have done it in 1/18 scale TR3A is already available in different colours. Maybe Claude Dubois is interested to see it. I met him a few times in his home in Brussels a very humble person, He sold his TR3A a few years ago, age related, he is still very interested in TR's
Don H.
Spark Models is also getting ready to issue a 1/43 model of the 1960 TR3A Rallye Monte Carlo cars. WVC 248, I believe.
jean
I have the TR3A model by Vitesse in Le Mans paint scheme ( white nose ) It's based on a standard TR3A outfit only LM colour scheme, not very attractive. The one Gavin showed is much better, thanks for the information.
Rodbr
Kyosho 1/18th scale every time, this is a super model but not that cheap. http://www.ebay.com/itm/KYOSHO-1959-TRIUMPH-TR3S-LM-1-18-26-GREEN-DIECAST-CAR-/121033779114?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item1c2e2ce7aa I also have one of these rare disconinued ones which is kind of neat as it is almost matches my own car. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kyosho-1-18-scale-Triumph-TR3A-1958-Black-Tan-interior-ULTRA-RARE-Discontinued-/390818915708 Edited August 29, 2014 by Rodbr

In the Green I ended up painting my car, as that plan was made about twenty years before the car was painted. It's an OK one for the regular cars. The TR3S version from the last year or so has the same engine as the regular model, yes, Rod? Given that the Sabrina was an essential part of those cars that seems like a serious compromise. I can tolerate their not doing the longer wheelbase (something I haven't figured out yet on the new 1/43 Spark) but no Sabrina engine dropped it off my list. I'm counting on the Spark model not showing any engine. Better that than the wrong one for me.
