AlexB
Wondering if anyone can advise. Drivers door handle (inner door) working perfectly then one day, won't "pull back" to open door. Felt jammed. I had to exit by winding window down and opening from outside. Today, whilst investigating the to-and-fro action on the latch mechanism (i.e. on the door lock assy) (undoing screws and generally examining) I found that by pulling the assy mechanism out just a few mm, the inner door lever suddenly works again ... pill it back...latch opens and door opens. For now, I have "packed" the door lock assy with very thin metal washers and it's still working. What has come adrift inside the door to do this ? Wear in the control arm rod/bushes etc ? Many thanks.
RobinTR6
There should be circlip connecting the remote, the bar from the inner handle to the lock, its very small. Is it present. Have a look at the Moss catalogue online and you'll see it.
