Dug is a one man operation who only does restoration items.

He has done work for me for about 10-years.

The downside is he is slow, because he is busy.

About once per month I drop something and collect something.

You must:

put your item in a sealed transparent bag,

include a drawing or photograph,

write your name and phone number on the drawing,

double bag small items like screws.

Dug strips and polishes and if defects appear on welds or there are pits he stops.

You collect and fix and then he takes back and finishes off.

He is a biker. Don't mess with him.

The best are Derby Plating in Abbey Road, Derby. They are the true experts who deal with the very best car items for all types of plating. Working part- time for a top end restoration company means we deal with only the best suppliers. They have plated parts for Bentleys, Rolls & Lancias recently for us & are excellent.

Cheers,

Monty.

Overiders were about £15 each. This was a few years back.

Remember what happened with the wiper-motor.

Shipping to UK is cheap.

Not the case when sending it back.

You will encounter a "length-limit" perhaps. Front-grilles are below this limit, But only just.

Hi - yes I've used Derby Chrome - very good - particularly on monkey metal 'mazac' items.

Haven't used London Chrome but heard good things.

I've also used Castle Chrome in Dudley for over riders, bumpers and clock bezels - good job.
