Syr-TR3-restore
I am in process of frame up restoration of a 1961 TR3/TR3A. My question is about the bolts securing the fenders to the body. Do the bolts remain metal colored, do they get painter the body color, or do they get painted black? I have looked in many references but have not found this info. Appreciate any help with this. Don Elliott
The bolts and flat washers securing the front wings are painted body colour. The two washers on each side closest to the scuttle should be 1" diameter on the OD. The truss-head screws securing the rear wings in the side rain troughs of the boot lid are also painted body colour - but with no washers.
