Ray Hill
Has anyone every developed a scheme to fit Spax shockers inside the rear coil springs on the 4A?
peejay4A
Revington do such a modification although I'm not sure whose shocks they use. I think it goes alongside their rear anti-roll bar arrangement. Edited July 10, 2014 by peejay4A
RogerH
Hi Ray/Pete, about ten years ago Rev used AVO struts. They need to be on the small side to physically fit. The theory is good but the execution is a bit iffy. Good lever arms or a good strut mod is just as good for normal use. Roger
harrytr5
Had problems in this area and went back to Lever arms.Best un-mod that I have done.Moss new 25% uprated lever arms with slightly uprated springs. Regards Harry.
Ray Hill
Thanks chaps. having found a great improvement on the 4A live axle chassis with Spax's and home made brackets, I'll now just do the same with the new chassis
