Fireman049
Does it matter which master cylinder is connected to the two unions on the bottom of the reservoir or is there a correct sequence? Tom.
Guest ntc
Tom Yes it does the centre one is the clutch and watch your bonnet.
jean
I think the logic is that the larger one is for the brakes as Neil is pointing out. Thickness of pads and shoes is decreasing taking up some fluid...
Fireman049
Thanks Neil and Jean ~ I've connected as you advised. Regards~ Tom.
Rodbr
Hi Tom, Just to expand on what Neil said. The height of the reservoir in the clamp is fairly critical so you do not catch it when the bonnet closes. If you can see the transfers below the clamp you are probably OK!. Also a good idea to snug the connectors to the reservoir up before fitting the pipes, perhaps if not new fit new washers. Always support the canister connectors when you nip up the pipe connectors, saves leakage onto fresh paintwork. They can be a pig to get a decent seal.
Graham Harris
A little brake grease on the cap threads and seal helps to get it sealed to stop the fluid taking the paint off the can. Graham
jimt
Does anyone need a set of transfers for the reservoir as I've an unused set.
Lebro
I could use them - I have a newly painted reservoir fitted, but no transfers. Bob.
