Timing Gear Replacement

Recommended Posts

The starting handle dog / bolt can be tight......big ring spanner and a lump hammer.

The pulley might be stuck.....3 leg puller or two big screwdrivers to lever from behind.

The bottom bolts which go into the ali. Sealing block are shorter....don't mix them up.

Fit the oil flinger on the crank sprocket the right way round.

Check the timing marks on the new sprockets against the old ones.

Fit a new crank seal.

New tab washer for the cam sprocket.
