Naybr
Just for the benefit of whoever does this next, I thought I'd pass on a couple of things I found out. I expect much of this is well known by the experts but I didn't spot them from my own research. 1. It's a pig of a job. 2. Leather doesn't stretch like vinyl does so its harder to fit 3. You can make replacement foam sections really easily by cutting the shape you need from a block with an electric carving knife. 4. The seat backs are 'handed'. The cover manufacturers don't tell you which cover is which. The back boards don't fit if you try and put it on the wrong seat. 5. Covering the seat back/top with cling film helps slide the cover on 6. A plug of cotton wool can be used to fill any unwanted dips 7. An old screwdriver with a notch cut in the blade is the perfect tool for fitting the diaphragm clips. Hope this helps someone.
Terry Whatley
For Item 5, we used a Stockinette type sleeve (unlikely to sweat or is that perspire!) as against Cling Film. Readily available from upholsterers.
