Russell chassis numbers appear to mean very little except perhaps to Rubery Owen who made them? my TR4 has this number, its an early car, CT392 but like you I have no knowledge of the true meaning Quote Link to post Share on other sites
vivdownunder Posted April 15, 2014 Report Share Posted April 15, 2014 The tab on which it appears marks the centreline for straightening purposes. Z is thought to be a product code.
