Peter Vernon
Can anyone tell me where DUO 164L is? I have a pristine signal red version but the cannot replace the original in my memory bank!
saffrontr
Hi Peter, Unfortunately DUO 164L hasn't appeared in the Register before. I also checked out the RAC vehicle data site to see if the number is still alive, and unfortunately it isn't. The nearest number that we have is DUO 156L which is Mimosa yellow. Address of the RAC site follows if you want to check for yourself. Regards Derek Graham TR6 registrar http://www.rac.co.uk/myrac....go.y=
malcolm
Derek. I've used the myRAC site too. It is odd though, whilst I can find my car there are other 7s that I know exist and are on the road that don't turn up in the search. I wondered what database they are using? Malcolm. rayjones
Interesting site that RAC one, I checked several of my previous cars, probably long scrapped, which were not recorded, but my 7 is on there, and also the reg of a Velocette 500 M/cycle reg SRR 63 which I used to own, and now the reg is on an (Shame!) MG ZT Ray
Rex Wyer
As you say its interesting, my main car and van are on but my tr6 is not ? It also states that my main car was manufactured after the date that I bought it. ( Strange ? )
rayjones
Yes my 7 was registered Jan 0001 according to the site, which would make it the oldest car ever. This could be due to the fact that it has an age related reg now, after being re-imported from the IOM around 1994. Both my current family car and company cars are on there, details are accurate for them Ray
Peter Vernon
Thanks for all of the replies. I know the registration of the car is DUO 164L, and have checked the pictures to make sure my mind is not playing tricks. Ifind it strange that the car has not been heard of in the register. I assumed that anyone who had a TR6 would be in the club, as it were!
