Kennet Valley TR Group & Glavon Inter-Group Challenge - It's on the Oche!

Yes its time again for the annual challenge between Kennet Valley TR Group and Glavon TR's, KVG have tried, 10 pin, skittles, indoor golf and yet winning the coveted cup had eluded them for quite some time now, so this time we are going to try Darts, so dig out those trusted arrows (if you haven't any don't worry there will be some there) and stand up at the Oche with a keen aim to win the cup.

The challenge will be held at The Red Lion, The Street, Castle Eaton, Wiltshire, SN6 6JZ, Tel: 01285 810280, the pub claims to be the first one along the Thames (from the source) and you can also enjoy the English countryside by walking the Thames Path, or sitting in a large garden on the edge of the River Thames. This is an old and traditional village pub with high quality fayre, and cosy log fires in winter. There is a large car park and it's on a quiet road. Please plan arrival at 11:30 for coffee and for 12:00 for the first throw, its approximately 35 miles from Newbury either along the M4/A419 or along the back and quieter route via Lambourn, Highworth etc.. Please do come along, the more the better for what will be a good laugh especially as many haven't had a dart in hand for 40 plus years!

After the challenge then it is of course lunch, natter, noggin and relax and the very important cup presentation which will hopefully come home to Berkshire?
