COAST-TO-COAST RUN
Morecambe to Whitby - 13th to 15th October 2017

Details of the Coast to Coast Run as follows:

Please note the number entered for the Coast-to-Coast run will be limited to 20 cars.

Red Rose members will be given preference in the initial applications up to Saturday the 20th May after which the applications will be open to all. Applications received from any TR Register Club members after the 20th May will be dealt with on a first come basis after this date. All applicants will be notified, preferably by e-mail if available, as to acceptance or otherwise. A number of rooms have been reserved at both the Midland Hotel for Friday night and at the Dunsley Hall Hotel Whitby for Saturday and Sunday night. The hotel cost per room including Dinner, Bed and Breakfast are as follow:- Midland Hotel Morecambe £182 per night and Dunsley Hall Hotel Whitby £155 per night to be booked individually. 14 rooms have been provisionally booked at both hotels. To book rooms at the Midland please use the following number 929521 and Dunsley Hall just mention the Red Rose car club.

Please note this is not a race or a rally, it is intended that the run will be completed individually and not in convoy with cars starting at 1-minute intervals. Route books showing the total route, recommended breaks and lunch stop will be available prior to the start of the run, which will cover approx. 170 miles. In order to complete the run at a reasonable time the first car will start at 10.30am from the Midland Hotel car park.

If accommodation is required in Morecambe other than the Midland is the responsibility of the entrant.

A run will not be organized for Sunday the 15th in order to allow people to investigate the surrounding area if they wish.
