If you have any interest in TRs whatsoever then you really should be at the Harrogate showground between the 29th and 31st of July. There will be over 2000 enthusiasts and 1000 cars gathered for a celebration of all things TR. On Friday you have the chance to run your car up the famous Harewood Hill Climb, but book in advance because places are limited. If you don’t fancy a run yourself then come along to watch a wide variety of Triumphs and TRs being used in anger. The showground will be open from 2pm on Friday afternoon and many will be arriving early to pitch their tents and meet friends old and new.

Early on Saturday morning people will be keen to visit the trade show and pick up some bargains; the Concours show will also be open and you will be able to see some of the best Triumphs in the world vying for honours. We also have a display of outstanding driving skills by the well-known master of parallel parking Russ Swift and on Saturday afternoon you will be able to enter your own car and test your own skills in our Autosolo competition. No vehicle modifications or competition licences required - just a road going car and a sense of fun.

Sunday will be taken up with arena displays of TRs and other visiting car clubs, all hosted by our long serving MCs Graham Robson and Steve Redway. A large part of the day will be given over to the celebration of the TR4’s 50th anniversary with special cars, celebrities, and static displays. We will be rounding the day off with prize giving and farewells.

I know that we are going to have a good time – come and join us.
Allen Forster, General Manager.
