It's still early days, and more e-mails and letters are arriving daily, but already we have received acceptances from the owners of eleven ex-Works TRs:
Five TR2s (one from Belgium), three TR3s (one from Holland), four TR3As (one from Sweden), one TRS (from Germany), three TR4s, one TR7 (OOM513R) and two TR7V8s. In addition there will be two ex-Works Triumph 2.5PIs and an ex-Works Triumph Vitesse.
The following special guests have confirmed in writing that they will be joining us:
Brian Culcheth, Stuart Turner, David Stone, Tom Blackburn, Stuart Harrold, Bill Price, Den Green, Dave Richards, Mike Broad and Harris Mann. In addition, Paddy Hopkirk and Dave Richards will endeavour to be there on the Saturday, and John Waddington on the Sunday. To gain an appreciation of what their parents achieved, the sons of three of the competitors from the early days will be joining us, too!
A number of other people would have loved to come, had not weddings, birthdays and business commitments dictated otherwise, but each has expressed considerable regret for absence and has wished the club the very best for a splendid event.
